a) Normal hair fall is approximately 80-100 strands per day especially for women with long, thick hair (fortunately if these hairs are replaced).
b) Hair is shinier, less greasy with less dandruff and less hair fall. Approximately 20 strands per day of hair drop daily. The improvement in the hair is because of the increase on female sex hormones, mainly estrogen.
c) After deliver, there is often a significant loss of hair due to these hormones falling back to normal level. The hair, which is lost after childbirth, is the hair that would normally have fallen out during nine months of pregnancy. Approximately 100-200 strands of hair drop in a day. However, if hair fall condition proceeds 5-6 months after delivered, then need to seek for help from treatment.
